The red carpet was rolled out for Rebekah at Bentworth High School who invited her to speak to the school about her novel Memoirs of a Gothic Soul. Many thanks for all the effort and the overwhelming enthusiasm from the students, the teachers and the administration.

Armusik Home on Holiday House Tour
Our
Town Foundation is inviting everyone to downtown Hamburg this weekend
for their “Catch the Spirit” event. On Saturday, December
11 and Sunday, December 12, the town will come alive with holiday glow.
Several historical properties festively decorated for the season will
be open for viewing during a self-guided walking tour that begins anytime
after 5 p.m.
The Hamburg Area Historical Society, one of the stops along the route
will have many local historical exhibits on display. The Armusik
home, a past favorite, was built in the 1870’s and was featured
in each issue of Victorian Homes Magazine in 2009. Rebekah Armusik recently
wrote “Memoirs of a Gothic
Soul” which will be available for purchase in the Armusik residence.
A suggested donation of $5 will be accepted at the Gallery of Hamburg,
335 State Street , - the starting location for the tour. In addition,
the Foundation is asking everyone to donate a non-perishable food item
which will be given to the Northern Berks Food Pantry. A free ornament
will be given with each $5 donation received.For additional information
or to purchase advance tickets, please contact the Our Town Foundation
